What We Believe
We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as inspired of God and without error in the original writings. The Scriptures are authoritative and without error in any category of knowledge, including science and history, and are of supreme and final authority in all matters about which they speak. They are profitable for teaching, reproof for correcting and training in Righteousness for all ages.
We believe in one God eternally existing as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God the Father is the King of all Kings and the Lord of all Lord’s and desires a relationship with man.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, Creator of the universe, became fully man to fulfill God’s promise to send a Savior to redeem the world back from sin. He defeated sin and death through His death, burial and resurrection.
We believe in God the Holy Spirit and that He convicts people of sin, draws people to God the Father, and permanently indwells the believer when they place their trust in Christ.
We believe that man was created in the image of God, and that he rebelled against God and consequently experienced not only physical death, but also spiritual death (which is separation from God). The consequences of this sin affect the entire human race.
We believe the only means of salvation is faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Not as a result of any works that man has done.
We believe that a true believer cannot lose their salvation.
We believe that all believers still possess a sinful nature in this life, but God has made full provision to overcome the sinful nature through Christ, the Scriptures, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the church is made up of all who have trusted Jesus Christ as Savior. We believe God has purposed that His Universal Church find expression in local churches around the world to rightly represent Christ to the world. We affirm and celebrate the local church in the world today but affirm and celebrate more that we are one Church, the Bride of Christ, forever.
We believe that God has left the church with two ordinances to follow. Water Baptism and Communion.
Return of Christ
We believe the return of Christ is literal, visible and public to usher in the judgment of the living and the dead and the bodily resurrection of all people, some to eternal life and others to eternal death.
